In addition to avoiding the interference on the crowded 2.4GHz band, this system's camera also has an IR illuminator for low light and night use. The camera is weatherproof, the transmission range is 100 metres and the IR is effective out to 7 metres. It also has a audio monitoring capability. The receiver has 4 channels so multiple units may be used without interference. 8VDC plugpacks for both the camera and receiver are included.
